Database Experience
This is something I picked up on back in the late 1980's when we were still working on 'green screens' with horrible fonts that made your eyes hurt! I believe that the software I was being trained to use was dbase which predated Microsoft Access by quite a few years. Fast forward to today and having attended some Microsoft Access 2003 training courses, I am now able to design and create simple but functional, relational databases. Of course, this is all 'work in progress' and the knowledge I have at the time of writing this will hopefully be superseded as my experience increases.
I have dabbled very briefly with MySQL when I was attempting to learn PHP in order to build database driven websites, but I didn't get too far! (Actually, it was the PHP that I found the hardest to get my head into, the MySQL stuff made more sense.)
